TasVine Map

The TasVine map locates every vineyard in Tasmania and is used by government and private landscape fire users to reduce potential negative impacts of fire and smoke on their neighbouring vineyards. It is also used for emergency events such as biosecurity incursions (Fruit Fly), weather issues (hail), or other events. This is not a touring map (see link below if you're looking for touring information), nor is it to be used as a contact database. It is not to be used for commercial or any other purpose.

The TasVine map is managed and updated by Wine Tasmania and broken down into two categories:

  • Wine Tasmania member vineyards, with contact details
  • Other vineyards, without contact details

The TasVine map is available for anyone who is planning a fuel reduction or other fire to access. Anyone planning to light a fire is encouraged to review the map to determine the risk the subsequent smoke poses to vineyards down-wind and to contact nearby vineyards and / or Wine Tasmania to discuss potential impacts and timing.
