Wine Trails

Welcome to Tasmania’s wine trails – showcasing the four wine touring options in the State.

New: Varietal Wine Trails - create your own trail to visit producers of your favourite wine varieties and styles and the Tasmanian Seafood Trail - a match made in heaven!

Each trail offers a diverse and sophisticated range of wine styles which are available from an equally diverse array of cellar doors – from ultra modern restaurants to quaint cottages to heritage stables and converted backyard sheds. Sample our naturally elegant cool climate wines including pinot noir, riesling, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon, pinot gris, gewurztraminer and sparkling wines.

You will note that all four wine trails are located close to major cities and towns, as well as some of Tasmania’s award winning attractions. Outstanding accommodation and dining options are also located nearby, giving you the perfect half or full day touring options. You can tour the Tasmanian Wine Trail easily by car or on a guided tour, with a number of local tour companies offering half or full-day visits.  Click here to find out more...
