This season in Tasmania saw a rise in the incidence of Downy and Powdery Mildew. Some growers had never experienced Downy Mildew until this year. The aim of this workshop is to deliver the latest research on protection from both of these diseases, with a focus on the latest chemistries, timings, and current knowledge of disease habits.
- Barbara Hall - Biology 101 for Powdery and Downy Mildew. Latest resistance issues.
- Liz Riley - Hunter conditions, how they manage, coverage, timing, chemistries...
- Dr Kathy Evans - The Tassy Perspective. How disease progresses in cooler climates
- The Tassy Spray Program - Starting with a blank canvas we will create one together
As a bonus, all attendees will receive a "1 on 1" with Paul Smart after the event to go through their spray program, sprayer set up and discuss any issues.
