“Cut, Cut, Cut!” Trunk Disease & Pruning Workshop (South)

The Tasmanian Wine sector has the first recorded planting of vines in Australia. While those vines did not survive, the current age of vines in Tasmania is ageing rapidly. Trunk Disease will become more prevalent and this workshop is designed to upskill growers before diseases become a major yield impediment. Topics included in the workshop potentially include:

  • findings from the latest research on trunk disease
  • methods to reduce disease incidence
  • pruning for quality, soft pruning methods
  • pruning for yield

The final program, venue and times for this workshop (to be held in the South) are TBC.  Watch this space for further details as they become available.
