Wine Tasmania is delighted to welcome wine tourism guru Clare Burder from Vintuition back to Tasmania for three workshops in July (Monday 15 July - north, Tuesday 16 July - east, Wednesday 17 July - south). Those of you that attended our workshops with Clare in 2017 will know how much knowledge, enthusiasm and practical experience she offers. These workshops are not a repeat of the 2017 sessions, and all cellar door operators / staff as well as anyone considering opening a cellar door are encouraged to get along.
The half day workshops will focus on how to differentiate and add value to your visitor experience, and we'll also hear from Tourism Tasmania on key visitor insights (Kate Phillips, Wine Tourism Marketer). With more and more people travelling to Tasmania motivated by our wine and food, your cellar door can be one of your most successful and profitable channel for wine sales and developing relationships with people who love your wines. In these workshops, we'll be discussing ways to differentiate your experience to reflect the Tasmanian Wine Brand and your unique stories, how to deliver exceptional hospitality and service, how to 'close the sale', and ways to build experiences and value beyond just a tasting or bottle of wine.
BEFORE YOU REGISTER TO ATTEND: To help us tailor workshop content to you and your business, as well as to provide input into how we can help grow this important channel and measure future cellar door visitation insights, we would be grateful if you would take just a few minutes to participate in this short survey.
The session also includes morning tea and will be followed by lunch.
